IN OUR CLASSES...
During a class you will learn how to teach your dog specific tricks and develop the fundamental stages to teaching your dog new tricks. We will also show you the breakdown of more complicated tricks and how they come together,  but will only challenge you within your capabilities and at your own pace.
WHEN, WHERE, WHAT TIME...
Trick training classes work as a course based curriculum, these lasting 6 weeks at a time. Please get in contact for the next course start date, this will usually be on either a Tuesday or Thursday night.Â
Training is based on an equestrian site in Formby, taking place inside a secure indoor arena.
WHO CAN JOIN?
We welcome all breeds and ages, however, we do ask if you are able to fill out a short survey beforehand so we can find a group most suited to you and your dog.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
We ask if you can bring plenty of your dogs favourite treats and a toy to every class. With these items, it means you are prepared for any exercise we may introduce into the class.
WHAT TRAINING METHODS DO YOU USE?
We believe in positive based training methods only, using those such as free-shaping, luring and targeting techniques in order to achieve trick goals.
CAN I CHOOSE WHAT TRICKS I WANT TO LEARN?
Yes and no, we work on a 6 week programme of which lesson plans will be made in advance. This will be based on the most popular tricks included in your survey. However, we regularly welcome any weekly suggestions on what you may want to learn so to incorporate this into the following classes.
